Mushom (Grandpa in Cree), like his name, embodies the senior doggo lifestyle! He is a calm boy who enjoys a relaxed pace and doing things his way. Mushom comes with no teeth so a soft/canned food diet or special chewable food is needed! Although chill is more his vibe, he does have brief playful moments that sometimes end in the zoomies.

Mushom is quiet, he doesn’t whine for much and only lets out the odd bark. He enjoys cuddles and lots of pets, but is also independent. Mushom enjoys his daily walks but sometimes can be timid with loud vehicles and sudden movements. He is house-trained and stays in a kennel during the day. He does not get along with children or other pets. When kids are in the house, he can start to get protective and growls. In these cases, space is essential. Mushom has been kept in his spot in the house in these situations, and the separation is helpful. He is also known to have reactive moments if in vulnerable situations. When he feels vulnerable, he will growl and once left, he is okay. He has bitten a person before when he was growling and space wasn’t provided. Mushom doesn’t do well with change and can be more growly in these situations.

Mushom is a special boy who is full of life and love, and would make a wonderful companion for the right person. His perfect home would be slower paced, have a single adult or adult couple, without kids and other pets.
