Spay/Neuter Deposit Request

At Saskatoon Dog Rescue, we believe in doing our part to aid in the control of dog overpopulation in our province. That’s why we require all dogs adopted through us to be spayed or neutered once they reach the appropriate age.

As a thank you for helping us and our community, we are pleased to offer a $200 rebate upon proof of spay/neuter surgery for dogs adopted through SDR.

As a thank you for supporting this mission, we offer a $200 rebate upon proof of spay/neuter surgery for dogs adopted through SDR.

How Does It Work?

When you adopt a puppy too young to be spayed or neutered, the adoption fee is $490. Once your pup has undergone the procedure:

  1. Request Proof: Ask your veterinarian for a “proof of spay/neuter” certificate.

  2. Submit the Form: Upload the certificate using the form below.

  3. Receive Your Rebate: Once approved, we’ll e-transfer your $200 rebate directly to you!

Important Information
  • Submission Deadline: You must submit proof of surgery within 60 days of your dog turning 8 months old to qualify for the rebate. If the form is not submitted within this timeframe, the $200 rebate will be forfeited—no exceptions.

  • Medical Exceptions: If your veterinarian advises delaying the procedure for health reasons, a written note from your vet must be included with your submission to extend the deadline.

  • Processing Time: Please allow up to 30 days for us to process, approve, and e-transfer your rebate.

By spaying or neutering your pup, you’re not only supporting their health but also helping us create a brighter future for dogs in need.
