About Us
Saskatoon Dog Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of neglected and abandoned dogs across Saskatchewan. We are a 100% volunteer-run non-profit organization operating through a network of loving foster homes.
Supporting our community is important to us. We partner with resource-limited communities across Saskatchewan to help control the overpopulation of dogs through our Spay/Neuter & Return program.
We rely on volunteers, donations, and sponsorships to help us save lives.
Our Cause
We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs in need. Why? Because every dog deserves a happy tail.
Our Actions
There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes at SDR. Whether it's ensuring dogs are healthy prior to adoption, or helping cover medical costs so a dog can stay with their family, we care for dogs around the clock!
Our Impact
We've worked with communities and individuals across Saskatchewan to not only improve the lives of countless dogs, but their owners as well.
About Our Dogs
Our dogs come to us from an array of different backgrounds. We often don't know much about their background prior to entering our care. Each and every dog is taken to a veterinarian to ensure they are physically, mentally, and behaviorally healthy prior to being put up for adoption. Our foster homes also provide our dogs with socialization to other dogs and exposure other people to ensure they can co-exist peacefully. If any other background information is known about your foster pup, we will always share it with you.
